You can modify a global option set any time after creating it. The modifications will appear in all option set fields associated with your global option set.
To modify a global option set, follow these steps:
1. In the navigation pane, click on Settings.
2. In the Customization group, click on Customizations and then click on Customize the System to open the default solution.
3. Click on the Global Option Sets component and open the global option set that you want to modify.
4. Modify the required properties of your global option set. The following properties can be modified:
°° Display Name and Description
°° Option Value Names, Sort Order, and Descriptions
°° Create New Option Set Values and Delete Existing Values
5. Click on Save to save your changes.
6. Click on Publish to publish your changes. This will affect all the option set fields associated with your global option set.

Deleting a global option set
You can delete only global option sets that are not currently associated with an option set field. If an option set field is currently associated with a global option set that you want to delete, first you will need to delete the option set field or associate it with a different global option set.
To delete a global option set, follow these steps:
1. In the navigation pane, click on Settings.
2. In the Customization group, click on Customizations and then click on Customize the System to open the default solution.
3. Click on the Global Option Sets component.
4. Select the global option set that you want to delete and then click on the Delete button.
5. Click on OK to confirm deletion.
